Best Time to Visit Jacksonville
Our area is full of year round excitement but one common question we receive is when is the best time to visit Jacksonville? Of course we’d say anytime is the best time, but if you are looking to get the best value for your money you’ll want to avoid the peak season. The most expensive time of the year for hotels in Jacksonville is May through August. You’ll notice a larger spike in rate increase in Jacksonville Beach during this time period. Generally downtown and the business districts maintain similar rates throughout the year. Off season in our area takes place November- February and that is by the far when you’ll revive the most value for your money. Although just because we are in Florida, don’t assume it’s going to be warm! Jacksonville is located in the top part of the sunshine state and the winter weather is similar to Atlanta. With this information we still haven’t announced the best time to visit Jacksonville. We recommend planning a trip in the shoulder seasons! This is March-April and September-November. The weather is at its best, the crowds are gone, and the hotels are reasonably priced. For more information and to save the most money by booking online, check out Jacksonville Hotels Cheap.
